General Overview of the Trip:

Sendoff Mass will take place at St. Ignatius of Loyola on Wednesday, October 8th at 6:45 p.m. All mission trip participants will meet at 6:30 at the Narthex.

Families make own arrangements for the trip which is a 6-hour drive south to McAllen, TX. On Saturday evening families can visit the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle before our first dinner together. Optional activities for the trip are visits to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in Rio Grande City, TX, and painting, repairs, gardening, and equipment buildings. Catholic Charities Humanitarian Respite Center, where volunteers assist migrant families with various needs.
