Confirmation for adult Catholics in the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston is celebrated twice a year, in January and May/June.

To be eligible to participate in this celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation you must be a practicing (or returning) Catholic who is:

~    over the age of 18 and no longer in high school,

~    baptized and made your First Communion

~    (if married) married according to the norms of the Catholic Church.

Preparation for the celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation for adults involves presenting a current record of your baptism (dated within the last 3 months) and choosing an eligible sponsor, completion of the required paperwork and interview, and participation in the required preparation sessions.
